It's an engaging game that does an excellent job tying into both the book and movie. The adventure never gets boring, although waiting for energy points to restore can be tiresome.
As for the actual gameplay, much of what you'll do involves resource gathering to build things that eventually go towards helping other people.
If you want to explore the world of Panem, but without all that pesky killing and dying, The Hunger Games Adventures spins an absorbing tale.
