Pokémon fans can't go wrong with Stadium 2. You can work out your home-grown Pokémon in N64 color, and the Transfer Pak enables you to play any Game Boy Pokémon game on a big screen.
  2. One of the most rounded and comprehensive packages you're ever likely to see, something that makes it worthy of recommendation to all discerning Pokefans out there.
  3. It looks pretty, and is an impressive game -- but is ONLY for Pokemon fiends.

Now as an adult, I say this is still the best console game on Pokemon compared to its predecessor (Coliseum and Battle Revolution). Even if you don't have a Gameboy port drive for your portable games( Gold, Silver, Red, etc.), this game is still enjoyable. However, you are limited to rental Pokemon with random stats and move-sets that may not be in your favor against opponents, especially in Gym Castle Mode. The option to play your Gameboy games are good, however one slight move on the N64 controller while playing may case the game to crash and delete your save file, which is an absolute minus. There are sweet extras such as the Pokemon library and Mini-games. Soundtrack is good and the option to remove the announcer's voice is a plus for those who can't stand his voice. Graphics has improved from the first installment. Gameplay hours depend on how much you invest your time on the francise and what is available to you (Pokemon party, friends available, gameboy pack, etc.). This game is great for the Pokemon fan, but not for everyone. Full Review »

Not bad, wish you could use lugia, ho-oh, and mewtwo though. Otherwise, pretty fun. Also, great minigames. If only pokemon silver and gold didnt break so easily Full Review »
