  • Summary: Battle your favorite drum 'n' bass tracks, or zen out as you soar through that trance album. Kick It mines your existing MP3 music to build hovering, hallucinogenic worlds to fly and fight through. Picture this: Ten kilometers above the Earth's crust, you plummet, your own music library powering you through terminal velocity. A hint of orchestral strings, and gameplay responds with wide open skies ahead. But whats this? Big, fat bass beats, and suddenly youre intimate with the side of a behemoth building -- scrape by with a millimeter to spare, and your score multiplier doubles, then triples. A serious drum line breaks though the soundscape: cymbals crash, and youre swarmed by teeming hordes of mechanical monsters hell-bent on shooting you out of the sky. Take aim, and take 'em down. 1. Kick It has been out for a year or so now but it feels like a demo sold as a full price game. That would be okay if there were regular game updates but there's virtually nothing. Not recommended as is. Devs could have made something out of this by now but seem to be lost at what to do with it. Expand

  2. This game just doesn't feel like it was done properly. I don't feel like my music is connected to the game at all. You’re just playing A Reckless Disregard for Gravity with your music and very cheesy looking graphics. The game definitely is in need of some improvement and is not worth the money, atleast not right now. Also, the fact that you have to place your music in a folder for the game also makes this game less appealing, you should just have to browse for your music to play it. There are better games out there to play along to your music with. Expand

  3. The game just really feels like it isn't done. I didn't like how you have to put the music that you want to play into its own directory. You should just have a browser that will let you select the track that you wan to play. Honestly it felt a little lazy on the developer's part. The point boosters don't sync up with your music. Its a little distracting. You hear it break about half a second off from the beat. Basically it just felt like one of the devs thought that it would be cool to let people play their own music to A reckless disregard for gravity, however they just kind of slapped something together that doesn't really feel right.
