The graphics of this game are totally outdated. The gameplay lacks intensiti the enemies are stupid and the weapons boring. The only thing that seems a new and welcome addition to the game is the alien mode.I give it a 4 for my friend Remus.

Garbage for the console masses back in 2005. The Playstation 2 was not a powerhouse visually speaking, but the fact that the PC release looks nearly identical is just criminal. Gameplay wise? Nothing special. Weapon designs? Fairly generic. Voice acting? A few notable names in there, but not particularly "great" performances either. Its also fairly obvious when looking at the Playstation 2 metacritic page- that this game was given some pretty overwhelmingly positive reviews for nonsensical reasons. The game is unanimously somewhere between "bottom of the barrel" and a rip-off of much better sci-fi concepts. Note some of the other reviews in the lower numbers on here when they mention "the graphics were shockingly bad." Even for 2005 its ugly. We're talking uglier than Operation Flashpoint: Cold War Crisis. Its almost amazing that the game came out in 2005, I mean it is that difficult to swallow on a graphical level. Very linear, very generic, and is apparently now freeware. Expand

  1. But here again, another fun idea inevitably joins what feels like a game thrown together out of genre spare parts. [May 2005, p.39]

If nostalgia for the original arcade light-gun game, or fascination with the myth of the Mid-West has you by the cockles, then this game may give you a day or two's worth of good times. But anyone with a stricter criteria than that would be hard-pressed to find real satisfaction in what's offered here.

Unfortunately experienced FPS players may find they aren’t being offered anything new in the game.
