  1. What’s not to like? A MMOG with fantastic production values, monthly episodic content, that’s playable over a 56k connection, you bet people will like it!
  2. Hardcore RPG players will probably hate AC2, deeming it too simple to be worth their while. It is simple, certainly far simpler than AC1 or EverQuest, but it’s not simplistic. Turbine has merely removed much of the annoying faff and limitations from the genre and concentrated on the game itself.

A solid MMORPG, but feels like it's missing that special spark that will keep you hooked for weeks on end.

I've tried Everquest and Camelot.. and while both offered some time wasting enjoyment.. i've never been hooked online by a game as i have with Asherons Call 2, its almost sad really....Theres quite a bit to do and its very accessible making it easy to jump into. It does have its problems, but the monthly updates will most likely smooth most of them out. As far as the nuance of having to pay to play this is honestly the first time i've played a game online, with plans to keep playing after the free month runs out. Its just really fun. Expand
