  • Summary: Single-handedly you repel the onslaught and pummel your attackers through the night. Then, as day breaks, carry the battle inland to defend your command post against an all out air and ground assault. The enemy is on to your defensive tactics. It will take more than incidents of great valor to reach the next level in Beach Head 2002. [Infogrames] Expand

  1. A fun little time waster that keeps on bringing the fun with countless levels of increasing difficulty.
  2. If you are looking for something you can immediately just throw in the drive and start playing this is it. If you are looking for re-playability, you may want to pass on this one.
  3. A dismal attempt at a resurrection of an age-old favorite genre.
  4. The few improvements it includes do little to address the flaws of the original game, and since the new game is just more of the same endless waves of enemies, it can't really be recommended even to those who might have enjoyed Beach Head 2000 in some way.
  5. What with so little variety in weapons, foes, or physical settings, the game loses what little charm it has in a mere matter of minutes.

I have to say this game will keep you hooked with it's simple but fun and surprisingly addicting gameplay, it's designed just to be a time waster that will be enjoyed by people who aren't "hardcore gamers" but are just looking for some arcade style fun, that being said some more enemy types and more than one location would have been nice, but if your looking for a game that's not complicated and will keep you busy for a little bit at a time, you'll like this.
