Yes, bad dialogue and cheesy translation, but the music is marvelous and doesn't jerk as you go from room to room and the environment is well created. Most importantly, the puzzles are logical and it is nice that you don't pick up things you need to use until you have a reason to use them, it isn't just a Monty Haul grab what you can and stick the marzipan in the cats ear Yes, bad dialogue and cheesy translation, but the music is marvelous and doesn't jerk as you go from room to room and the environment is well created. Most importantly, the puzzles are logical and it is nice that you don't pick up things you need to use until you have a reason to use them, it isn't just a Monty Haul grab what you can and stick the marzipan in the cats ear to get rid of the dog scene. I have a high IQ and I like a game that gives me a chance to think logically and not just to click away like a tech-savvy red-neck. Bring back adventure gaming! Expand

  1. It's enjoyable to play, but feels, at least at times, like playing basketball with a bum knee might. You have fun, yet the pain prevents you from playing at your full potential. Similarly, this game has lost some of its potential within the framework of its annoyances.
  2. I did enjoy playing MM. Beautiful graphics and music, pretty good puzzles, along with one of the best puzzles ever created, interaction with almost everything and a good story with unexpected twists make up for the poor dialogs and the bad voiceovers.
  3. The story develops nicely as your investigation proceeds and the puzzles provide the right amount of challenge to keep you actively engaged without blocking your progress for too long.
