Don’t Shoot Yourself! is an interesting take on the bullet hell genre, but as a part of that genre, may not be for everyone. In this case, though, it feels like a cross between those games and the classic Snake number-eating game, so it may yet appeal to some outside of that core audience.
Though it locks much of its content behind tough achievement walls, Don't Shoot Yourself!'s novel anti-shooter gameplay is fun, if a tad frustrating at times.
In other words, there's much to be enjoyed in Don't Shoot Yourself - just don't expect a welcome mat when you first arrive.
Don't Shoot Yourself! is guaranteed to murder you again and again, but its unique design and high challenge level should thrill bullet-hell fans looking for an epic foe.
Dodge and dive in this challenging game all about avoiding the bullets that one fires.
