  1. Three unique perspectives and a host of missions make this a program that can be played over and over again.
  2. A first-rate RTS game that just may revitalize the genre. [Sept 2000, p.110]

While it's not perfect, Earth 2150 is one of the finest examples of a classically-styled RTS I've seen in years, and I look forward to more out of TopWare in the future.

It could have easily been a "great" game if more time was spent making the interface cleaner and less micromanagement was needed all around.
  5. It's also great to see something as real-world integral as a searchlight become almost necessary in an RTS wargame.
  6. The most important thing to do before setting out to play Earth 2150 is to remember to synchronize your watch, because it does not count to be slow in this game, or things will burn up.
  7. A mixed bag of great ideas and poor implementation.

The only reason I can't give this game a ten is because its over ten years old and the graphics are a little dated, but not as much as your think!
This game was ahead of its time in every way, no other RTS has repeated its brilliance.
    great campaign
    great maps
    great story great
Innovative and hugely fun game play in every area, and with three factions that all work differently but are still all well balanced.
    Absolute F***ing Genius !
In fact f*ck it, I'm giving it a ten.

This RTS is manly. Very manly. In fact it requires so much more brain usage in comparison to most games (even of it's own genre), that it scares away most of the wannabe pro (aka casual tryhards) rts players back to Starcraft 2 or Red Alert 3. The amount of things you can touch, change, modify, create and destroy in this game is ridiculous (from terrain reshaping, tunnel digging, etc. to researching insnane amount of things (no, not just new units - everything from chassis types, weapons to the types of ammunition, shielding components, radars/radar jammers, cloak fields, YOU NAME IT!) and composing your own units from the components you've reaserched. The game lacks nothing in a sense that there's ground, underground, aerial and naval combat, wmd's, artillery, bombs - the options are almost limtless. For the amount of fun and options this game gives, there can't be given any less then at least 9. Expand
