We have added twelve new aircraft that were designed with the help of over thirty real warbird pilots. You will also experience revolutionary, explosive, special effects like never before. Witness towering explosive blasts, aircraft being torn in half, and smoke drifting thousands of feet above the battlefields. Using authentic military test data and combat footage was the design team's primary focus. Under the hood, you will find every aircraft, building, and vehicle reacting precisely as they did when you unleash all of the newly designed weapons. Specific targets will require specific weapons, just like the real thing. You will also get to fly the famous B-17 Flying Fortress, man all of the gunner positions, and even attack those bomber formations from the cockpit of some of Germany's most ingenious, flying machines.     It resuscitates a once heavily hyped sim that was nearly dead on arrival, and turns it into something special. A must buy for combat flight simulation enthusiasts.

    Although FirePower is merely a companion to CFS3, it consumes the original. The flight models, missions, graphics, sound and damage modeling dominate every nook and cranny. If you already own Microsoft Combat Flight Simulator 3, do yourself a favor and buy this add-on. If you do not already own CFS3, buy it, install it, and make it perfect with FirePower.

    All in all Microsoft owes a hearty thanks to GMX Studios for producing such a fine add-on. If you felt let down as I was or if you feel that you’ve tired out CFS3, you’ll find this add-on pack to be exactly what you need.

    Great add-on which makes CFS 3 worth keeping on the hard drive at least another 6 months to a year or so!!
