  1. Its basic premise is its greatest weakness, for by re-creating the classic arcade game it has limited itself to a few basic controls and tile-based movement.
  2. This game is hopping with hours and hours of fun. Once you play the game and win, you will find yourself going back to the beginning to start all over.
  3. Unfortunately, for serious gamers and traffic-dodging enthusiasts everywhere, it's not enough.
  4. CNET Gamecenter
Suffers from limited gameplay and a few glitches, but it's a worthwhile title that most Frogger fans will enjoy.
  5. 86
The lean, green croaking machine's new adventure just happens to be this season's diamond in the rough.
  6. I suspect this game would be a lot of fun for ten-year-olds, but what do I know? I plan to give out condoms on Halloween.
  7. PC Gamer
An all-time favorite takes a forward step in its second life as a 3D series. [Jan 2001, p.153]
  8. Daily Radar
Although it's a short experience, Frogger 2 was nearly all fun.
  9. A definite improvement over the first 3D title in both control and camera viewpoint.
  10. The overall vibe generated by Frogger 2: Swampy's Revenge is positive, one of a software company really liking a classic game and wanting to do all they can to make it better. What more can you ask for in a remake?
  11. A fair example of how classic games can successfully be brought up to modern standards while keeping the spirit of the original intact.
