The concept is more appealing to me than actually playing. It's not a bad game, but nothing really to recommend it over much else either, so a score of 5. As someone else posted, there's an element of frustration involved with some of the levels, because you have limited control of your little incredipede animal. Some may enjoy learning making this creature with limited mobility wobble across the screen and achieve the solution for the level, but be prepared for some frustration, because it is difficult to make him do what you want sometimes. Experience is maybe kind of like an American trying to learn to eat with chop sticks. So I'd recommend it for a curious diversion, but don't be surprised if it doesn't hold your attention for long, and you want to go back to using a fork. Expand

The idea of the game is to solve levels with the limbs and muscles the game gives you which is interesting and creates room for a lot of unique level design. At times the game does feel slightly frustrating and the story is not really much of a story but clearly that wasn't the main emphasis of the game.Overall it was good fun and for the price it was definitely worth it

Expand

The original concept is interesting but the actual game is just a big "press S if the fruit is on right, press A if the fruit is on left". And why would it need fruits to save its sisters anyway? Also, achievements are a joke.

This is one of the most original games I have seen in years. Incredipede is all about creating a creature that can move over various obstacles. I've created some truly terrifying creatures with this game, as well as some abysmal failures. It's all about experimenting. One of the best parts is getting to show other players your own originality and creativity with your designs. It is a completely kid-friendly game, as well...so the whole family can enjoy it! Expand

one of the best games i have played for ages. i could play this game forever, unfortunately after the main story, there isn't much to do, yes you can play the story with other difficulties, but after that there is pretty much nothing left. but the game itself was absolutely fantastic, it was fun to play, different challenges were fun and challenging, just all around beautiful game.

Visualmente y conceptualmente muy interesante, la puesta en práctica flojea porque se vuelve bastante incontrolable. Vale la pena probarlo, aunque tal vez si lo tiene un amig@.

The basic premise is original and the physics-based gameplay looks interesting but it’s also a bit clumsy: more often than not, you get the impression that chance and insistence are more important than skill and intelligence. [May 2013]

A puzzle-platformer with a unique art direction and some serious challenges. If you can bear the trial-and-error logic behind it you should give it a try.

The simple ideas sometimes are the best ones. The team headed by Colin and Sarah Northway presents a simple but astonishingly clever puzzle mix.
