  • Summary: More than one hundred and fifty races combined into championships and cup competitions take place in Europe, America, Africa and the Antarctic. The game has an enormous variety of long distance tracks: sand and snowy deserts, high-speed roads and impassable cross-country paths, African beaches and deserted Antarctic stations. The game features 18 vehicles of different classes, from buggies to monstrous Bigfoots, as well as an additional prototype class. Rating points won in the races can be used to upgrade any of the vehicles, from a selection of 15 running gear, body or engine upgrade alternatives. Each vehicle is furnished with a detailed destruction system. Reaching the end of a course without suffering any losses is an enormous challenge that only a select few are able to accomplish. The opponents, who constantly create extreme situations, aren’t the only danger: players also need to watch out for railway crossings, heavy tanker trucks and even lightning in stormy weather. Expand

Insane 2 develops all his fun-potential only in multiplayer mode, at least in the abstract. De facto I detect a fellow player on the abandoned servers only in exceptional cases. My advice: Just organize a LAN party once again, as it used to be. Then Insane 2 becomes a guaranteed life of the party.

Insane 2 is a good crazy arcade racing game, really fun in multiplayer. In single player, despite its variety, it gets boring too fast.

  1. I like Insane 2. It's a beautiful game with a nice amount of good looking vehicles. There's a lot of interesting game modes, and nice tracks. However, a lot of these game modes are really boring and kind of tedious to complete, just to move on to more unlocks and better game modes. Jamboree for example is AWESOME. I haven't played this game in multiplayer yet, but I imagine it to be loads of fun. The campaign can just be rather tedious, and if you get bored with that, you dont get all the awesome vehicles. 2. Game looks and sounds nice. The controls take some getting used to. Cannot comment on multiplayer but the single player gets repeditive fast. If you are looking for a off-road racer you would be better going with something like Nail'd Expand
