This is a well put together game. The only drawback is that it gets repetitive after a while and will possibly lose its luster after playing a few seasons. It’s a great first effort.
The appeal of portraying a rookie with big-league dreams and the solid stat-generation of the OOTP engine make the experience captivating for a few virtual seasons.
The simplified structure of the game should appeal to sports fans that have had until this time little or no interest in RPGs. The menus are easy enough to navigate; ultimately it's not unlike being able to move around at will the kind of stats you would encounter in a standard Franchise mode.
