The action sequences aren't complex or varied enough to appeal to action game fans (or so I surmise, not really being one), and the puzzle sequences aren't difficult or frequent enough to appeal to adventure game fans, leaving Jekyll & Hyde a potential fan base of basically nobody.

Ultimately, Jekyll & Hyde is a bit like its dual protagonists: a very mixed bag.

If R. L. Stevenson knew someone would make a game like this based on his novel maybe he would have rather became a light house keeper. Action adventure with lousy controls, terrible playability and weak visuals are not worthy of a name of such a great masterpiece. [Issue#197]

With repetitive puzzles and truly horrible platforming elements, Jekyll & Hyde fails to deliver on both sides of the coin.
