JoshR.Jun 6, 20041I have played lots of MMORPGs, and this is by far the worst ever. Do not buy this game. It is a waste of your time and money. Leveling is monotonous and mind numbing. The quests are boring, the world is empty and buggy, and the community is the worst I have ever playd with. The graphics are decent, but this is the best case of gameplay being nonexisitent. Repeat: Do not buy this game.

[anonymous]Jan 18, 201010ive been playing for 6 years, but besides that there have been big improvements,fun,creative... one of the problems are people arent willing to grind and instead use a walker program or third party to level which means "bots" or "botting",and thats the best way to lose an account or get "banned"

[Anonymous]May 12, 20040I've played almost every MMORPG and this one is one of the worst. It's the most "dull, korean hack 'n slash, diablo wanna be, level grind" That persuades you by it's up to date graphics.

ErikFeb 1, 20067i think its a briliant game but the BIG disadvantage is that the servers are almost always full :S but u can do great team work and being in a clan is really fun in this game.

JonD.Apr 30, 20046This game is great for the beginning and i beta'd it but once you get to a high level it gets boring and becomes tedious and unfun. I suggest if you have time to grind grind grind and be a little bored or are used to being alone then you should play this game because soloing is boring and u cant always get a party.

ScottJan 20, 20067Lots and lots of game play, despite the horrible and relentless grind once you get going then its a wonderful game. Lately servers have been packed with over experienced and hardcore players but the opition of private free, yes FREE servers with less grind make the game one of the easily better mmorpgs, well exceding of world of warcraft or everquest (hated both of em).

AdamJun 1, 20068immersive and creative, this game is picture in motion, the graphics are incredible and the detail great. ONE HUGE draw is the weapons they look crap, 2d and quite frankly look like paper.

ColtonPDec 10, 200810A very addicting game as you progress to the higher levels, always more to do, and work on.

IsoldeG.May 26, 20049This game is just plain fun. I have played since open beta. This game is not for you if you don't enjoy meeting and grouping with others. I have never had a problem finding a party. The graphics are amazing. There is real danger in this game. You die, you lose stuff. Other players want to kill you. If someone is a jerk, find a group and go destroy them.

MegathronDec 6, 200510Dont listen to the ratings of the squeamish, Lineage 2 is arguably the best fantasy pvp rpg out there. It is the definitive of what R.P.G stands for. Sure the grind is a tad bit odious, but power comes only to those who want it most...

XenDec 14, 20049Absolutely love the game. Incredible graphics, incredible music, and great sfx. Chronical 2, Age of Splendors adds more to an already great game. Definitely, not for the non-serious woosy gamer. Best PvP around for mmorpg's. C2 has definitely raised the bar up another notch.

RavenS.Nov 17, 20058Beautiful graphics, Dynamic Guild vs Guild PVP. Lots of things to keep ya busy. Hard level grind. But that Ok, cuz i prefer to play a game and stick with it.

For anyone new to the genre, this isn't the best place to start due to the technical flaws and PvP griefing. Even veterans of the online role-playing genre will find the many errors impeding their fun.
-
40A gorgeous boilerplate game with little innovation and many sections of tedious play.

61My biggest complaint is the excruciating grind, where you hunt creatures for experience points and money. [July 2004, p.66]
