The point in these games and the way they last a long time is to manage to find the items you need and then figure out what you need to do with them… This one however has a strategy guide built into the game so you can basically just follow the whole damn game without ever even thinking about anything! That felt a little dumb, but I guess some would look at that as bonus content… If you enjoy point and click adventures with many hidden object mini-games then I can’t fail to recommend this to you! This game continues in that veinThe Midnight Series is consistent in its high quality presentation, good music and audio, and good ambience. This game continues in that vein with some very nice settings. But, it is let down by a storyline that's light (even by the standards of this puzzle/screen-scrape genre), and more importantly, way too easy puzzles. There is no challenge here at all. Also, these games (for me) have no replay value. Once completed, left behind. But, get it or $3-4, and it'll provide a nice diversion for about 4 hours of gameplay. If you have a younger kid (9-12) who likes the occult settings, it could be a nice game to give. Expand
