  1. The most complete NASCAR racing game ever created and with a new graphics engine pushing it along, it is also the most realistic!
  2. From the first few notes of Steppenwolf's “Magic Carpet Ride” to the victory lap at the end of the season, NASCAR Thunder 2003 proves to be the most enjoyable NASCAR racing game yet on any console.

If you MUST pick only one NASCAR sim, stay with Papyrus for now.
  4. A solid racing game that still pales in comparison to Papyrus' "NASCAR Racing 2002." [Feb 2003, p.92]

Graphics do not compare to Nascar 4 and thuder requires more than a 600 meg pc.

I had long anticipated EA's return to NASCAR for the pc because i had loved Nascar 2000 and frankly was sort of frustrated with the Papyrus games. But when i dished out the 40 bucks to buy this thing, I was disappointed. The biggest shock, to me, was that there was no create-a-car like i had done in PS2. This game is very bare bones. Expand
