  • Summary: Ninja Blade is an action adventure game set within modern day Tokyo. Parasites known as alpha-worms have mysteriously appeared, unleashing a wave of human destruction as they rapidly spread east, reaching the shores of Tokyo. With the future of humankind hanging in the balance, an exclusive and elite team possessing highly specialized skills is formed to eliminate the enemy onslaught, and ultimately save mankind from complete obliteration. Unique ninja abilities: Use your Ninja Vision to detect and analyze potential enemy weak points, secret paths, and hidden information within the environment, but be careful, as you are susceptible to extra damage while using your vision. And perform the todomé attack to destroy an enemy's core (heart), by dealing a fatal wound. Balanced and calculated use of both these abilities will be critical to progressing through the game. Variety of weapons, tools, and Ninjutsu: Specialized ninja powers offer an enticing array of options. Expand

  1. Ninja Blade has no right to be as entertaining as it is. It's nowhere near as accomplished as the genre's heavyweights, but anyone able to see it as the roller-coaster ride it is should have a great time.
  2. Forget logic or the laws of physics, you won’t need them in this game. It’s an absurd action feast where you play a super ninja called Ken Ogawa. The only problem with this game are frequent crashes which are annoying because you the game is only saved after completing a mission
  3. Some technical troubles notwithstanding, this derivative action game is a bunch of silly, stylish fun.
  4. This is a weak port. [Feb 2010, p.85]

  1. Great game for PC gamers looking for some Ninja Gaiden style action. The port does not take full advantage of high end PC specs, but at least it runs pretty well on my mid-tier laptop (i5, 6GB ram, HD 6750M). The game's story is like an impossible high budget b-movie. It's so over-the-top that it feels like a parody. There is a lot of QTE, a little too much for my taste, but the cut-scenes look great. The graphics are generally good, but not perfect as some textures and models feels detached from the rest. Despite the very different gameplay style, Ninja Blade has controls and level design reminiscent of Dark Souls, a much cooler game also developed by From Software. Expand

Fairly nice, if you ask me. Fast action, nice cinematics and fun combinations of attacks, though the game tempts to get a little the same along the road...... Once you got a special type of boss down once, its no big deal if another one comes of the same type.. (Which it will, without saying to much) I Recommend the game for a fun experience and i would have wished for a longer game, with perhaps a MP mode. Expand
  3. Console port garbage at its finest. Sure, the action, setting, and graphics are fine. But it all runs at a snail's pace in terms of performance, even to this day with my stellar gaming PC. Keyboard controls are a mess, and it doesn't even bother helping you with QTEs as it shows XBOX 360 BUTTONS on the HUD instead of keyboard buttons! Another great game to add to my "terrible games" library. If you want to enjoy this game to its fullest, then play it on console or use a controller on PC. Otherwise, stay away if you are a PC gamer with standards! Expand

I refuse converting console games to PC without any changes. This game is really the worst game I've ever played... But nice idea...
