If you love non-linear open-world games like Super Metroid, La-Mulana, or 16-bit action platformers in general, THIS IS YOUR GAME. Seriously -- my mind is absolutely blown that there are no reviews posted for this yet. Imagine the combat of the classic Metal Slug games, with the open-world exploration of Super Metroid (this game is clearly a love letter to Super Metroid, if that helps you make a decision). Controls are incredibly crisp and clean, difficulty is refreshingly high but you "learn" by doing very quickly, there are interesting optional challenges scattered within the world, this game is an absolute gem and more people need to be playing it. And on top of all that, the game is only $1.99? Hell, I'd pay $19.99 for the privilege. Expand

This is definetely a great Metroidvania title, with all the typical similarities, Heart Containers, secret locations, hard game-play overall, the mechanics integration with the game style, and feel was awesome, one of the best indie platform games out there Collapse
