Sep 6, 201285Animation Arts has again created a felicitous adventure in its well known adventure series Secret Files. Secret Files 3 (Geheimakte 3) brings great and diversified puzzles (for experts maybe to easy sometimes) and again mixes a fictitious story with real historical events. Even the mini games are fitting in and leave you the choice of two levels of difficulty. Orchestration, dramatic and cinematic presentation in Secret Files 3 are great and the game even provides several playable characters also as endings - depending on the decisions you make. Although the game lacks optimization of animations and the graphic presentation is getting kind of outdated due to the age of the engine, the game still looks pretty good. Overall it's quite a recommendation for all adventure gamers.

Sep 24, 201270The Conspiracy theories, ancient secrets and mystic civilizations make their comeback in this Da Vinci-esque third part of Secret Files. Although the story is good an well-paced, the storytelling oversteps the gameplay, making the puzzlers too easy and non-demanding riddles except for a few ones. The customizable main menu is a fine detail, but the graphics engine starts to need an overhaul. After two previous games with texts and voices in Spanish, Secret Files 3 has been launched in Spain in German and English only.

Oct 4, 201270It's not the great return we were expecting, but it is definitely a great game. The experience is partially ruined by some technical mistakes, the low difficulty and the poor final part of the story. However, it manages to keep us engaged with a great narrative, the variety of locations and the interesting implementation of the puzzles.
