  1. This review isn't a knock on the game itself, but rather the PC port. Message to devs and publishers; "If you are going to port something to PC don't make it half-arsed because it can put a negative spin on the whole entire product line!"
  2. The humor is much more appealing to younger players, but the graphics, sound and action combine for an entertaining, if not irreverent, trip into Shrek’s world. While good, this game translates better, control-wise, on the home console platforms.
  3. If you're above the age of 13, you may find this game extremely boring, and somewhat lackluster. It's got the makings of a fun-filled 3D fighting game, but it just unfortunately doesn't deliver like it should.
  4. A run-of-the-mill fighting game that will only appeal to kids that simply can't get enough of the Shrek franchise, and even they will find that Super Slam doesn't offer much by way of long-term playability.
  5. An easy game to pick up and play, but unless you're a big fan of the license there isn't much to keep you playing.
  6. PC Gamer
Super Slam busts out with destructible environments and plenty of sight gags--enough to make this fighting game good entertainment for kids who aren't ready for "hot coffee." [Apr 2006, p.100]
  7. It’s ironic that a game staring Shrek – one of the most popular computer animated characters ever created – is a complete clunker on the home computer. Pretend this title is one of Shrek’s fart attacks and give it a wide berth.
