Sins of a Solar Empire: Diplomacy Image
  • Summary: Sins of a Solar Empire: Diplomacy is the second expansion pack for Sins of a Solar Empire. Combined with the original and the first expansion pack (Entrenchment) you get Sins of a Solar Empire: Trinity. The first expansion pack added a new defense-based technology tree and starbases, features that had been requested by players to enhance the tactical options for players. Diplomacy is a different animal all together. It is much more subtle. There are no big new structures in it. Instead, it focuses on allowing players to pull strings from behind the scenes. 1. The lesser of Sins add-ons, but of course a must buy. [May 2010]
  2. 80
Diplomacy is not as essential an expansion as Entrenchment but it's still a worthwhile addition to the Sins of a Solar Empire experience.
  3. There's no question that Diplomacy makes the Sins of a Solar Empire series just 'that' much more fun, but if you couldn't find a good reason to get into the game prior to now, it's doubtful you'll find anything here to change your mind.

  1. It is a fun relatively easy game to learn. For me the best part is the modding community. There is a good balance to each side. Back story is intriguing but not relevant to the game play. Expand
