Events unfold inexplicably, unrealistically, and almost arbitrarily. [June 2002, p.69]
  3. It's an idea that has been tried before and done better.
  4. With the bugs fixed and the gameplay tweaked and polished, Superpower could be pretty decent. At the moment, it's disappointing.
  5. A key problem may simply be that the international system is too hard to replicate under its current condition of relative anarchy.
  6. The game's lack of focus, poor design, and beta-like release state will put it not in the forefront of strategy discussion boards, but rather the back of discount software bins.

SuperPower's most entertaining feature is this utter detachment from reality - despite its being touted as hyperrealistic. [July 2002, p.82]

Easily one of worst games ever made. I would ALSO like to sign up for the class action lawsuit.

The unrealism makes this game a waste of time. Full Review »
