The second expansion to Witcher 3 - Blood and Wine, is a multi-hour adventure that expertly mixes all the things we know and love with very interesting novelties. The new land is breathtaking, the story and characters are enchanting and the interface finally is almost perfect. Every story needs an ending and this one is one of the most satisfying ever.
A truly masterpiece,I don't know how you can do a better game. This is really in touch with the source material, there are thousands of references to the books along the game, wich makes it beautiful unlike the series adaptation
The Witcher 3: Blood & Wine is an exceptional expansion that reignites a sense of wonder even for players who have put in hundreds of hours so far. The breadth and variety of all that’s included stands stronger than many full-priced sequels. As a twenty-dollar add-on, it’s absolutely worthwhile.
When it comes to expansion packs, Blood and Wine is truly a masterpiece: huge scale, beautiful vistas, interesting stories and multitude of activities beyond the main quest. A wonderful goodbye for one of the best games in a long, long time.
The last expansion for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is by far the best one. It manages to bring new and interesting mechanics to the game, as well as some of the most beautifully designed landscapes we have ever seen in this franchise. A must buy.
Geralt deserves to be called a legend, of course, not least because he stars in one of the greatest role-playing games ever made. Perhaps we will join him in yet another adventure, but if Blood and Wine is the White Wolf’s final interactive appearance, he at least departs in style.
i want to know who thought that doing a fight with an enemy that that turns into a indestructable heat seeking missle that stun-locks and kills you when you get hit once in the beggining of the DLC? Oh and did I mension that you get "help" from a knight that can also die and restart the fight? Oh and his AI thinks he is fighting a drowner or something and just runs into the monster and dies every minute. Oh i didn't mention that you take around 0.5% of his health in one hit and he instantly hits you back takeing 90% of your health? And this is just an example im currently a few hours in and i'm stuck on a enemy 5 levels below me that insta kills me for some reason?! Aside from that the DLC has been great but combat is kindo a big part of an RPG as well as ability to progress a quest that you "could have done" when you were 5 levels worse
For a game that is all about sword play, this game has the most casual and dumbed down combat system ever seen in a game. Just press attack, then roll, repeat x times until enemy is dead. There a lots of different looking bad dudes to fight, but all you do for them is attack, roll, attack. roll. The rest of the game is really good, it is just a shame that the main mechanic is poor, lacks innovation and requires zero skill, zero strategy and could be played by a woodpecker. Gone are the days of gaming that required brain capacity to play. What a pile of crap.
Graphics aren't that great, story is boring, and combat is horrendous. Combat is really where the game falls down, more than anything. It's clunky, all about rolling everywhere, and doesn't really have any strategy involved.
