  1. With no opening or closing ceremonies, or otherwise flashy presentation, the game is as boring to look at as it is to play.
  2. The bottom line is that these events, while fairly dreary in reality, simply have no place in a game. For all its production values and official licence, ultimately you'd have a more interactive experience playing with a yoyo while watching the Winter Olympics on the telly.

An essential failure in almost every way. At best it's a collection of rather boring events. At worst, putting the Olympic symbol on the box is a mockery of the games' excellent now bi-yearly presentation.
  4. Sucks and blows at the same time. What a shameful excuse for a video game. I take personal offence to this boring turd. [Mar 2006]

the sking has to be the worst part of this game. there are no directions to the courses no arrows before the jump from a steap section so you dont know if the next flag is left or right and quite frankly its too boaring to learn. i remember back to the NAGANO olympics on the N64 it was fantastic you couls use the slight touch of the control to keep you level in the ski jump and slide gentely down the slopes but this!....HOW ABOUT A CONTROLER OPTION!!!! (if there is i cant get mine to work with it) and then on to the next pain is the speed skating its just sooooooooo ZZZZzzzzzzzz please if you are going to make an olypics/sports game make it A. More interesting B. control enabled so the gental touches can help more than pressing left or right which make slight movements impossible C. the graphics are last gen and have no life i just cant explane how bad this is. Its like having sausages, beans and mashed potato followed by Chocolate pudding and custard.. all the perfect ingredience for the ideal meal and then throwing the whole lot in a blender and expecting it to taste right Next time leave the sports games to EA!
