  • Summary: The game turns the single most challenging action in sports into child's play.
Score distribution:
  1. Positive: 3 out of 10
  2. Negative: 1 out of 10
  1. Small issues aside, it's hard to go wrong with the generally realistic, technically superb and enjoyable gameplay found in Triple Play Baseball.
  2. The perfect game for the casual baseball fan. The controls are easy to learn, hitting is a breeze, and even at the hardest levels, the AI isn’t that hard.
  3. Its games last too long, there's too much of an emphasis on offense, and pitching and defense are virtual afterthoughts. This may sound discouraging, but even with these problems, the game can still hold a national interest.
  4. Unfortunately, at $30, the shot is foul. Guys, it's called a roster patch. Look it up.

I think the game is fun, I recently uncovered it cleaning out my attic, popped it in, and its still good 4 years later. Fun to play, although the game encounters errors quite a bit, and unexpectedly shuts down. It used to do that, I always though it was my computer, of course now I have a brand new computer and am running on XP, so its obviously the game. Anyhow 10/10. Expand
