66A good choice if you're looking for something that is the complete opposite of the latest offerings of shoot'em, smash'em, kill'em brand of games.
-
62Not so bad that you'll want to pluck your own fur out, but that's all. [Nov 2004]

Zoo Empire does add depth to the "Zoo Tycoon" formula, but plays it safe and doesnt make any effort to change the established norm. If you tried "Zoo Tycoon" but didnt think that it had enough options or graphical punch, Zoo Empire is for you.
-
The look is reminiscent of "Theme Park World" - colourful, but not particularly detailed - although the animals have been put together with some charm. This, coupled with the lack of any real challenge, makes the game a reasonable option for animal-loving kids, but not a lot more.
-
58There is not much here to hold an adult for long, but be warned this game takes up a hell of a lot of space on your hard drive its over 1GB installed and over 50% of this is game textures which is a little bit much when you see the graphics.
-
50Yes, Im still disappointed by the lack of opportunities for the creation of chaos, and yes, the graphics do reek of things from ye olden times of management sims.
-
Adults will want something that feels less childish to play, and kids will want a game that is less demanding in terms of micro-management.
