84Crash: Mind Over Mutant doesn’t do anything new. It doesn’t push the franchise into a new realm. It doesn’t innovate. It doesn’t necessarily have the long-lasting appeal or memorable moments of current generation blockbusters. But you know what? Damnit, it’s fun.

80Crash: Mind Over Mutant is a surprisingly well put-together platforming title.

70But it’s not quite slick enough underneath all those pretty visuals to earn essential status.

70If you enjoyed Crash of the Titans, Crash: Mind Over Mutant is a slightly better game with improvements in critical areas such as controls, gameplay and storyline. Sadly, the camera almost ruins the whole package.

70If Crash had loosened up the open-world gameplay a bit and fixed the horrible camera system, this could have been another excellent PS2 platformer.
