  1. The feel of the arcade makes a successful transfer into an exciting and forever entertaining game that teaches everyone to respect those time honored heroes: the cabbies.
  2. There is a vast collection of challenges for you to try, some simple, some stupidly difficult.
  3. A faithful port of a modern classic, down to its nagging flaws.
  4. 90
Its excellent mix of driving techniques, fantasy physics, and gigantic cities will keep couch drivers burning onscreen rubber for some time.
  5. After playing Crazy Taxi I had so much fun listening to the music that I felt I should’ve gone out and bought the soundtrack.
  6. You might not find yourself playing Crazy Taxi constantly on the day you buy it, but you'll still be picking it up for a quick blast of arcade action this time next year.

It's even the kind of game that you can put down for a month, pick back up, and it feels new all over again. However, it's unlikely to inspire extended gameplay; once you've beaten it, there really isn't much to keep you playing.
  8. An excellent, adrenaline pumping game that is nearly identical to its arcade and Dreamcast counterparts.
  9. The original version is every bit as good, if not better than this new release, so only those PS2 owners who don't also own a Dreamcast will find this game worthwhile.
  10. Almost identical to the Dreamcast version. Like a 98% clone identical.
  11. 70
If you’re a gamer looking for some simple, fast-paced auto action then look no further because it just doesn’t get any faster—or simpler—than this.
  12. It's a few screws short of perfection, but "Crazy Taxi" is worth playing just to see how the opposite end of the "Gran Turismo 3" scale of driving gameplay stacks up.
  13. This is the epitome of the "rental title," you'll be returning it at the perfect time. You'll not only have finished most of the modes, but you'll be pretty sick of it by then too.
  14. We don’t like how the pesky pedestrians always manage to dodge your cab, but the graphics of the San Francisco–like city are amazingly detailed.
  15. A mediocre port of what can already be considered an old Dreamcast game. But on the other hand, it's a port of a good fun game, with the ever-important gameplay still intact. Crazy Taxi on PS2 is still a gut blow of fun.

This is the best game in the whole world. Nothing will replace it!

This game is a pretty fun game, with its crazy feeling when you play it... It is kind of hard to explain for me. The game had a decent amount of replay-ability, but it could've been better if they changed up the game each time you play it for a more exciting experience, but sadly, it is the same. Despite that flaw, the game is a entertaining classic that I recommend to everyone who likes racing/car games! Full Review »

I had originally played Crazy Taxi for PC, but decided to try it for PS2 and it goes without a shadow of a doubt that it's just as fun and wild on PS2 as it is on any system. Full Review »
