In addition, an improved control system for the Wii will allow players to easily mimic signature moves and execute devastating energy attacks as they are performed in the Dragon Ball Z animated series. 1. The PS2 may have thrown out its last classic titles with Okami and God of War II, but for those waiting to make the next gen leap then you could do a lot worse for yourself in the mean time than picking this up.
  2. For 50 bucks, Dragonball Z Budokai Tenkaichi 3 is a surprisingly good game. The colorful landscapes, differently played characters, and multiple settings and choices make the title enjoyable.

When looking at the core gameplay, and ignoring the titles before it, BT3 is a fast, fun, and amazingly deep experience for fans of the award-winning anime.
  4. When it comes down to it, Budokai Tenkaichi 3 continues the series’ tradition of creating true-to-the-anime experiences.
  5. 70
If you've played any of the previous Tenkaichi titles, you know exactly what to expect here -- a relatively shallow button-masher that does a darn fine job of letting you relive the Dragon Ball experience. Those looking for anything else will be disappointed, but if you just want another excuse to beat up Frieza, this game will suit you perfectly.

If you own a Wii, I recommend you hold out and wait for that version, which features an interesting alternate control scheme and full online play.
  7. I can respect Funimation’s attempt to change many staid fighting game conventions throughout their Dragon Ball Z Budokai Tenkaichi series, but in the process, the controls have become almost impossible to learn.

This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Ridiculously fast paced, many characters and has tons of action, this has got to be the greatest DBZ game i have ever played. If you've played older Tenkaichi games before try this out! If your a newbie to the DBZ world you'll probably have a hard time learning the controls. I give this a 10 out of 10. Expand

O jogo merece atenção por ser um clássico, ótimo jogo de luta para fãs e não fãs de Dragon Ball. Na minha opinião um dos melhores jogos de Dragon Ball se não o melhor. Expand

When I say the BEST, I really say that this game is the BEST Dragon Ball game in history, and one of the best shonen-anime game too. HundredsWhen I say the BEST, I really say that this game is the BEST Dragon Ball game in history, and one of the best shonen-anime game too. Hundreds of different characters and more than 40 transformations, hours and hours playing the history mode or playing with your friend at your home. In ps3, we really miss games like this. This game is much better than the two Raging Blast games or Ultimate Tenkaichi ones in PS3.
I was only 12 years old when I was playing this game, and then my parents bought me my PS3 ... and then I stop playing this AWESOME game. Perhaps the best dragon ball game made in history....

I rented it for a day, and never bought it or played it after that. It delivered none of the fun and the excitement that transpired playing Budokai 3 with friends and family. The controls scheme was horrible, full of meaningless and repetitive button mashing. The voice acting was really terrible, especially noticeable with super and ultimate attacks. Supers and ultimates were done poorly and gave you none of the satisfaction that the ones with Budokai 3 gave you. The disc fusion was a gimmick and the potara earings for customizing your character was no where near as good as the capsule system. The capsule system wasn't perfect either, but it was much better than the potara earing system. The soundtrack of Budokai 3 was superb. The soundtrack for Tenkaichi 3 was gutter trash. I really don't understand why some people even liked this game. They have to get their head screwed back on straight. Expand
