Blurred, standard visuals, limited circuit choice, atrocious handling, weak engine note, unforgivable loading times, undemanding structure, highly irritating. What else would you like to know?
  2. The visual effects in the game look amateurish, which compliment the wretched gameplay rather nicely.
  3. It is difficult to recommend Driving Emotion Type-S to anyone who is not a hardcore fan of the driving sim genre, or those with a short fuse. Those that fall within that narrow vertical and don't mind tweaking, tuning, and testing to the extreme, may find some enjoyment with the game.
  4. An unforgiving game that demands precision and perfection from its racers. The pure joy of racing has been lost in the equation. The racetracks provide nothing that hasn't been seen before, the graphics and music are a step backwards, and like I said, I just didn't have fun.

I have played so many better racing games that it makes this one look terrible. It's not the graphics that turn me off, but the handling I have played so many better racing games that it makes this one look terrible. It's not the graphics that turn me off, but the handling of the cars and poor control. Squaresoft has failed in this game. It was brave of them to try something new but please stick with rpg's. If you never played any other racing game, you'd think this game is ok. Full Review »

People can get blind because the blurred background. Fortunately "Gran Turismo 3" is saving the PS2. I have never played a game like this. If you ask me they have to balance the steering wheels. This is toooooo fakeee. When I steer right it has to go right not left. CAPICH Full Review »
