Its control, ambient life, longevity, and evolving gameplay will captivate you, no matter how obscure you find the core subject matter to be. [Mar 2003, p.82]

It's laidback, good-natured, and a fine example of the quirky game design that only the Japanese seem to deliver.

Despite its impressive depth, this game is no masterpiece... But if you find yourself intrigued by its premise, there’s enough quality adventuring here that it can almost become an obsession.
  4. The game is ultimately too stripped-down and simplistic to warrant a higher score; a more engaging surface world, compelling storyline and ambitious gameplay would have driven the final tally up considerably.

Excellent game and highly underrated. The graphics are better than most and it's the most unique game I've found so far. If Excellent game and highly underrated. Great great game, for those who are not caught up in hype and graphics, also for those looking for a time waster, and a fun one at that. This Great great game, for those who are not caught up in hype and graphics, also for those looking for a time waster, and a fun one at that. This also is only a game for those with a brain, as sometimes you have to do more than just click buttons like the games people have grown accustomed to. Not only do you do a bit of detective work, but you also have to do some puzzles at times. Full Review »
