Mixing a ton of casino games into one package and then tying a goal-based story around it certainly works on paper, but when you use low-budget implementations of each and every game to put it together, the whole thing falls apart.
  2. Realistic? Yes. Fun? Not one bit. What's worse is that you have to sit and listen to the other fake players talk smack at the tables with the same four lines of speech. You'll be wise to quickly run to the Options menu and turn the sound off.
  3. Hard Rock Casino is a poor game that could have been thoroughly enjoyable; however, the lack of polish, presentation and playability make this a game I simply cannot recommend. I like to make a bet every now and again, but place your money on Hard Rock Casino and you're backing a guaranteed loser.
  4. It's a nice distraction. [Jan 2007, p.88]
  5. If you're looking for a good poker game, there are several to choose from these days. If you want any other good gambling though, you're better off digging through the discount PC game section at your shop and seeing if you can find something there.

A bottom of the barrel poker game. It does have some cool things that most other poker games don’t like craps, and sports betting, but the bad far outweighs the good. Avoid this one at all costs.
  7. For $20 you get a variety of games that is far beyond anything else that I’ve played on the PS2. The game plays well if you don’t feel like you have to have a deep and detailed story mode.
