    The game play is excellent but I must say that when in All Madden the DB's are super human, doing impossible things. Part of this is due to the play call but there are instances where they just can't do some of the things they are doing in the game...

    Do'n't listen to that dumb fuck Dan C. Everyone else is right about this game. THe graphics, the moves, the tight A.I., everything. Dan C. is just a dumb fuckin' cock sucker whose never had a girlfriend and sucks dick for money, unlike all the other of us who do have girlfriends, don't suck other guys dicks for money, and have a fuckin'life.     This game not only has kick ass graphics, but the commentary, instant reply, and music are above the rest of the football games out there. Not to mention the options that this game provides with nearly 300 cards for special players, teams, plays, stadiums, you name it. With all of those features hidden for you to earn feeds your fire and curiousity to constantly play this awesome game. To Dan C. those combat/battle games blow, those are the games where everything is the same after a while, not sports games.… Expand

    Vote 10, or however 9,5. What is missing in the European version is to actually hear the players and coaches outburst on the field, unlike the 2001 version where the players did the talking. Madden versus NFL 2K3, well madden is way more strategic and realistic when it comes to playcalling (audibles is not possible in NFL 2K3) and further in 2K3 you can actually see if the opponent comes with a passing game or a running game (huge bug). So to me the ultimate game experience would be Madden with player and coaching outbursts combined with the slightly better graphics of the NFL 2K3 version. Notice also that in the Madden PS2 version the commentatory from Michaels and Madden is high class compared to other games, even compared to the Madden XboX version (european version that is). This is the best game ever made and can only be compared to a highclass game like MGS and MGS2.… Collapse

    I may be a bit biased considering that Madden is the only NFL game I play, but this is absolutely the best game I have ever played football wise. I don't know what everyone else is doing but I have absolutely no problems whatsoever in breaking long gainers on runs or pass. This game is absolutely amazing, and I thought 2002 was amazing, I am salivating at the thought of 2004.

    A solid game despite a few noticable flaws, particularly the offensive lines innability to open up holes for the running backs. Other than that, this game is an all-star.

    This game feels like you are actually in the game. I like the gameplay, the tackles, the shakes, I LOVE everything about this game.

    The best sports game I have ever played comes out each year in Madden NFL Football! I am always looking forward to this game!

    This game absolute best. I love the gameplay, the feel, graphics, EVERYTHING. This game is a must have for football sim fans everywhere.

    I wish when your team played on monday night it would start off with monday night football song and feel like its really a mnf game while your playing. And it should show John and AL in the booth and Mellisa on the sidelines. Or halftime interviews. with players or coaches.

    This is a great game. The mini-camp mode is fun, and very addictive. The music isn't all bad but you should turn it off. The gameplay is excellent, and it has something NFL 2K3 doesn't a realistic running game. Madden really shines in two modes creating a team and franchise mode. For the first time in Madden games you can use your created team in franchise mode. Franchise is the best ever, you can coach and manage your team for 30 years. While by no means do I think NFL 2K3 is a bad game Madden just beat it out for the 3rd straight year.… Expand

    I like how computer AI is a lot tougher and they shift on defense a lot. The mini camp mode is off the hook. This game is great.

    Easily a 10! Def. check out the mini-camp, I thought it would be stupid at first, but I spent almost an hour playing it... The fact that it has an online feature makes the life of the game so much longer. The soundtrack is kind of lame, with the rock songs they picked. The commentary with Al Michaels instead of Pat Summeral sounds a lot better, not so choppy. The graphics are slightly better, with a more realistic crowd and the players themselves seem a little brighter. If you like realistic football, get this! It's worth getting even if ya have madden 2002.… Expand

    Madden 2003 is the best overall football game ever made, period...Denying it the perfect score it so richly deserves just because "NFL 2K3" comes soooo close to unseating it would be a crime.

    This game isn’t perfect, however, I found that the running game was a little too stingy for my tastes. I had a hard time breaking a run for more than 10 yards and more often than not, the gaps in the defense would close far too fast.
