  • Summary: The series that took racing from tracks to the open urban streets is back, and the stakes are even higher. Midnight Club 3: Dub Edition delivers insanely fast, open city racing in Atlanta, San Diego, and Detroit, complete with 8-player online competition and the most comprehensive vehicle customization ever seen in a video game. Drive the hottest licensed real life SUVs, import tuners, muscle cars, choppers and luxury rides, and trick them out with the latest rims, trims, and upgrades just like in the pages of DUB. Midnight Club 3: DUB Edition has more speed, more choices, and more chrome than any game has ever packed under the hood. [Rockstar Games] Collapse

A perfect blend of arcade style action, mixing the best of Midnight Club 2, Midtown Madness, Need for Speed Underground and Burnout 3. With a combination like that, you really can't go wrong.
  2. The game is worth the price of admission for the customization alone, but throw in near perfect graphics, great sound, a plethora of game modes and online play and you have a racing game that is one of the best on the market.
  3. Like with the Grand Theft Auto titles, a lot of credit has to be given to Rockstar for creating huge, seamless environments that act as your own playground of racing mayhem.
  4. DUB redlines on the gorgeous meter. Everything blurs and tunnels to help convey a giddy feeling of speed—and then you hit the nitrous.
  5. Fun and addicting for one obvious reason. It’s an insanely high-speed arcade style racing game that’s faster than any other racing experience out there.
  6. Having experienced Need For Speed and Burnout on numerous occasions, Gamestyle can wholeheartedly confirm that Midnight Club 3: Dub Edition is the most complete - and satisfying - package to date.
  7. Midnight Club 3: DUB Edition cannot be blamed for a lack of trying, but when you are facing formidable competition ("Need for Speed"-franchise), trying is just not good enough. [May 2005, p.66]

I don't always enjoy racing games that much. They're mostly the same thing over and over again. Sometimes there's a challenge, sometimes there isn't. But this game is fun as hell. Even the story is fun. Racing games shoudl be like this. Expand

What an incredibly fun game this still is. I have completed 100% of mc3de. I have remix as well,. This game was the best street racing game money could buy back in the day. Even better than nfs underground. The cars look amazing. The graphics were top notch for ps2 hardware. The soundtrack was catchy and fit perfectly with the atmosphere of the street racing seen. I'm keeping my ps2 for as long as possible. This will be a game that i will still play in the future again. Its almost a decade old too. Love it! Expand

Without a doubt the best racing game I have ever played. The customization levels in this game are crazy, pretty much anything and everything can be customized. Furthermore the game play was good and the controls were easy to get use to. The graphics of it's time were epic. Everything about the story line was interesting. Best part was the music, all the songs hyped me up, that I had to perfect everything in the game. Hoping for a remake on the PS4 (Fingers crossed) Expand
