While the last game had it's short comings here in Iron Triangle some of the those short comings were answered there are more customized portraits, the A.I acts smarter, the tutorial helps you a lot in this game and events happen right on cue or at least until you fulfilled certain requirements, also there are challenge modes which tests your ability to see if you got the RTS in you so that's very helpul. While this game looks a little bit awkward in graphics this combination of Total war meets ROTK 11 gives us what we need. to simply put in Rise to Power not much thinking just make sure your cities are all jacked up with troops and make sure you are allied with the right daimyo. Here in Iron Triangle you have to put on your thinking cap and plot where your troops should go, who should you allied with who this games gives us the RTS elements that was lacking in the previous game if you dislike Rise to Power for it's shortcomings or it's lackluster RTS gameplay here in Iron triangle your problems will be answered and in fact this looks like it could be a PC exclusive as well just based on the gameplay styles of ROTK 11 and it's somehow total war element vibe Full Review »

i thought this game was great you dont have to go with the whole historical aspect of the game and the gameplay is deeply involving you have to take control of everyhting from diplomacy to technology to military hence the iron triangle. and when your attacking a castle when holding of 4 other clans it is really exciting the graphics arent the greatest but they focus more on strategy and control than a beautiful front also the unifacation alone could take a month to complete and it was fun and challenging the whole way through theres more than just building immense amount of troops and sending them to burn cities to the ground the ai is actually quite intelligent not seen in many rts games ive played if you get to big and have no allies they will all team against you and you had better be prepard they dont just mindlesly attack they find your weak spots and advance in enemy lines its great to play an actually challenging game of skill you woory about snow storms and floods and plagues and you hire officers for your armies and towns and have to treat them well as in pay raises or if you want to be a tyrant you can cut there heads off haha this game has so much to offer if you are looking for an actual strategy game not just building an army of thousands and sending them mindlessly to war then definetly pick this one up if you just want a beautiful action packed war game you might want to skip it but this game is definetly worht buying youll play it for months.
