The crazy thing about this game is that even though you are doing the same exact thing over and over, its always fun. Rampage Total Destruction makes the serious come alive like never before with its detailed graphics and hilarious character animations. Add in a friend and you've got a good couple hours of entertainment. Every time a friend comes over you'll want to whip this game out again. Is it life changing? No. Is it worth 20 bucks? You bet. Awesome! really every time a new rampage comes out it makes the Series look even Better. Who cares what the critics say, they dont know what gamers want their like 40 yr. olds.

Fun for about the first 30 minutes but gets extremely repetitive after that, the original rampages are cool, but also kind of dull. Graphics good, but just not enough complexity or different game play modes. Had potential but felll way short of the mark. Rent do not buy!

This game is for those who want to get into all the parts in Grand Theft Auto and Simpsons Hit And Run where you can just run off destroying buildings, and it's for those who are just so mad and frustrated and want to tear things up...this game is decent and the graphics are nice. There are tons of more characters and not just 3. But I must admit, this game would not be worth $40 so they put a good price on it. And the fun gets more fun if you use the cheats which you can figure out on www.gamefaqs.com. The game will have you playing for a long time or a short time. It all depends on how you play it. Expand

There really isn't much to say about Rampage for PS2. The old arcade game was fun but the seriously outdated gameplay simply fails to hold this game togethor. Sure the updated graphics are nice but are actually crap compared to any other game. The game gets begins to get repetative after a few levels. Playing with friend can be fun for a little while but boredom will set in more quickly than you can imagine. This game is cheap remake that does nothing to improve on the original rampage and is just doesn's have anything redeemable about except for the low price tag. If you want a decent monster game I would suggest War of the Monsters. Expand

  1. Midway didn't over-think Rampage TD, rather, they made it look amazing while retaining and improving on the game's simplistic yet addictive gameplay. [May 2006, p.54]
  2. In the end, I don't see this title connecting with an audience beyond the most hardcore Rampage fans. [May 2006, p.97]
  3. It's fun for a while, but the lame objectives and lack of power-ups soon make this a chore. It's about time this franchise was buried under some rubble. [May 2006, p.68]
