  1. An attractive and faithful-enough experience.
  2. Go out and play pool. Some games are meant to be played in real life -- bowling, pinball, and especially pool.
  3. Total Video Games
As for gameplay, the controls are well defined, but it does not give the sense of holding the pool stick. It feels more like you are controlling a science project because of the stiffness, but they are precise.
  4. The better money is with "Q-Ball Billiards Master," which is far and away better than this.
  5. If playing pool in real life were as awkward and non-intuitive as Real Pool is, then I probably would never play in real life, either!
  6. Why should I buy this game for $50 when I can go down the street to a bar and spend the same amount of time for about $49.25 less?
  7. Real Pool offers most of the same elements as "Q-Ball Billiards Master," but it goes about it in a bare-bones way.
  8. Da Gameboyz
As a casual gamer of this type of game I found my attention span wavered. Quite honestly I would much rather go out and play pool in a real hall.
  9. It doesn't feel like you're playing pool, and these have got to be the most outdated-looking graphics seen on the PlayStation2.
  10. Daily Radar
It's not a horrible game, but the one other pool game available at launch, "Q-Ball: Billiards Master," is just a tad bit better.
