  1. Scooby-Doo: Mystery Mayhem just isn’t much fun. Blame it on its repetitive nature, the bad level design, the lame gameplay mechanics, the poor controls, or the collection mentality that composes a large part of the game – blame it on something because there’s no denying that Scooby-Doo: Mystery Mayhem is a huge bore-fest.

The videogame resembles the cartoon so well that I instinctively reach for the remote to change the channel. Hey, look, there's a great show on the making of mop handles.
  3. During my playtime, my emotions always registered somewhere between mildly annoyed and just plain bored. [May 2004, p.94]
  4. But unless your mommy tucks you into your Scooby-Doo bed sheets at night, you probably won’t be entirely satisfied.
