  • Summary: SEGA SuperStars for EyeToy, developed by SEGA's Sonic Team studio, leverages the camera control-method featured in EyeToy to bring a new level of interactivity to the company's core brands such as Sonic the Hedgehog, Samba de Amigo, House of the Dead, Virtua Fighter and more.

  1. Excellent gameplay is the order of the day here, and the classic franchises will make Dreamcast and Saturn fans teary-eyed just at the thought of them. This is the best EyeToy compilation to date.
  2. There are tons of classics in here, from Super Monkey Ball to Nights. All have been converted as well as you could expect. [GamesMaster]
  3. Game Informer
While there's not much new, it takes something old and makes it seem fresh. And where gaming fun is concerned, that's worth a lot. [Dec 2004, p.177]
  4. 75
Whatever the case, it's absolutely perfect for parties.
  5. The quality is uneven and there are no multiplayer tournament modes, but youngsters and Sega devotees will have great fun, particularly with the music games.
  6. 70
It's just too bad that by putting in just a little effort pretty much everyone should be able to get through the game without much difficulty at all.
  7. GMR Magazine
Why waste money on Superstars when you can buy any number of hallucination-inducing substances to get your friends swatting at the air for a fraction of the price? [Feb 2005, p.94]
