  1. The songs are decent but just are not that long and the idea of the artists being ‘legendary’ is fine in most regards, but some of the songs selected to highlight that status hardly live up to the title.
  2. This title certainly maintains the status quo, but the more challenging tracks will be appealing to longtime fans.

Another great Singstar, but we want some new genre-specific titles, please. [Dec 2006, p.94]
  4. The usual bells and whistles are all here as well, with the caveat that this is a PS2, so the tech is dated.

Singstar Legends is a return to form for Studio London. The tracks have been localised for Australia, there are thirty songs and most of the songs on the compilation are fun to sing along to. The perfect christmas present.
  6. For those that enjoy karaoke, and those who have already established a decent SingStar library, then SingStar Legends will most likely be right up your alley.
  7. On one hand, SingStar owners will love the new tracks but will hate the fact that there are absolutely no new features to be had – so we’re looking at a five or six out of ten. For gamers who haven’t played SingStar and don’t own the game, we’re looking at an eight or a nine. I fall into the former category, and I’m pretty sure that most people will too.
