  1. "Need for Speed Underground 2" did two years ago everything this game does, but with much more style and variety. [Nov. 2006, p.124]
  2. Given that fans of the movie have surely long-since moved on, there is simply no reason for this game to exist. [May 2007, p.120]

Only for the truly hardcore street racing fans. It's not a good enough racer to attract the wide base of casual videogame race fans, and we can't recommend more than a rental even for the die-hard gearheads.

Physics are simply terrible, anyone has a concept about "what a tuned car should act like" will agree with me. I put some rating points toPhysics are simply terrible, anyone has a concept about "what a tuned car should act like" will agree with me. I put some rating points to this game only for the tasty body kits and rims, these fantastic cars deserve a better platform. Full Review »

Excellent range of cars and upgrades, pretty nice drifting engine, suggestive cinematic atmosphere mixes here with sub par graphics, terribly Excellent range of cars and upgrades, pretty nice drifting engine, suggestive cinematic atmosphere mixes here with sub par graphics, terribly unbalanced gameplay, non-existant story and almost complete lack of true racing (no circuits, only duel races). Guys from Eutechnyx are true masters in creating racing games that concentrate on everything but not on racing. I would only recommend this one for true fans of original movie and car maniacs.
