  • Summary: Victorious Boxers uses a state-of-the art graphics engine to get you as close to the ring as you'll ever want to get. Progress through the amateur and Pro ranks with the help of your personal trainer. It proves that you don’t need hyper detailed, synapse-sizzling graphics to deliver a great game when ingenuity and solid mechanics will do.

A surprisingly deep and compelling boxing game, despite its overall minimalist approach to design, sound, and presentation.
  3. Although the play mechanics are very solid and intuitive, the controls get in the way to the point that it affects the gameplay. With another control scheme, this game would've been recommended a bit higher.
  4. Shoddy control and awful collision detection only worsen what could have been a decent game otherwise.

This is not only the best boxing game ever made, but the best fighting game ever made.

This game is pure banana. After a few fights you have a boxing match with a bear in the woods. It's difficult to control and has poor graphics/sound. I'd much rather play Barry McGuigans boxing on the zx spectrum. It's s**t. Expand
