  1. Quite a[n] addictive and enjoyable game, however, the controls are something to get used to at first.
  2. The nice thing is, unlike FIFA, you don't see the spectacular move all that often, so when you do you really appreciate it even more.
  3. Places an emphasis on action on the pitch and supplies a few of the gameplay modes that are missing from EA's popular FIFA series.
  4. Fast, fun footy with a simulation feel. [Feb 2002, p.114]
  5. This game is for the serious and possibly hard core soccer fan. Everyone else should just take a seat in the stands and enjoy the action from afar and let the pros go to work.
  6. What really makes the game are the wealth of offensive and defensive maneuvers to choose from.
  7. A new, non-Fifa (i.e. non-totally crap) soccer experience for North American soccer fans and, as I said before, it's not a horrible game - on the lower difficulty levels it's reasonably fun and it also has a ton of teams and competitions.
