With new boards, songs, and game play modes, I can't recommend this title enough. The puzzle fans will get their fix, and the gamers just wanting a something to chill with for a few minutes can find their answer here. The game is just plain fun, especially in versus mode.

A great little downloadable that's completely worth the price of admission.

You might wish for it to be a mite bit more complex, but this is the most soothing puzzle/music fusion to hit the genre so far. Haunting melodies and mesmerizing visuals combine with solid single and multiplayer action for an excellent package.

This Deluxe reedition of Chime for PlayStation Network is great, as it includes a cooperative mode and more content than the original. One of the games that offers the most value in PlayStation Network.

Chime Super Deluxe offers enough variety and improvements over Chime to easily recommend it to puzzle fans; especially to those who missed out on the XBLA release.
  7. Feels oddly satisfying. [June 2011, p.112]

The latest edition of Chime has some very catchy beats and has the same great gameplay that we're used to. A multiplayer mode and some more levels could have bumped this game up to a 9,0.

Chime Super Deluxe is superior to its already brilliant forebear, but a small selection of missed opportunities compels us to drop the score a little.

Chime was released a few years ago and now Chime Super Deluxe is an extended version of the game for the PlayStation 3 with multiplayer features and more levels. The gameplay is something you've seen from DJ Hero and Tetris and could have a really addicting effect.

Music and puzzling come together in sweet harmony. And the new songs are really good.

It's unique and memorable, and with two new enjoyable multiplayer modes, fans of puzzle games are sure to get their money's worth with Chime Super Deluxe. If you didn't catch the original Chime when it came out last year, be sure to check out this latest iteration. The definitive version is not to be missed.

With new mesmerizing tunes and grids, and the inclusion of four-player co-op and versus multiplayer, Chime Super Deluxe on PSN is by far the definitive version.

Lacking the clinical, rhythmical drive of Lumines, it's the perfectly dopey nightcap after a day of hectic digital adventures. [July 2011, p.89]

Place Tetris blocks to form rectangles while building up the great soundtrack. Stressful and at the same time meditative.
  17. It's nothing revolutionary but still worth exploring for puzzle game fans. [May 2011, p.87]

It's a puzzle game that had the ability to set itself apart from the genre with the addition of music elements, but fell prey to the ease of taking the traditional route.

At worst, the game's deliberate openness means theme and gameplay have a tenuous relationship.

An elegant puzzle game that pics up the best parts from Tetris and Lumines and puts its own concept in it. The mulitplayer-mode is really, really good, we enjoyed it a lot. Full Review »

A mesmerizing game that gives you the relaxation that you need at the end of a hard day. But you also get a really nice, challenging gameplay where puzzle-friends just get what they want. The coop and versus mode are also uch fun with other co-players. Full Review »
