Good, but still far from what EA is attempting to achieve. It will be enough for those looking for their annual war-themed FPS, but its gameplay needs to reach the high levels seen in its audio and visual aspects.

The campaign is crap. Clearly. [Issue#225, p.70]
  3. Oct 30, 2012
Warfighter has a nice multiplayer mode (although not better than Call of Duty or Battlefield). It's just a shame that the single player campaign ends up being so bad.
  4. Oct 26, 2012
Warfighter is just a decent war-FPS with a brief and annoying campaign and a temporarily enjoyable multiplayer. Another Medal of Honor that can't achieve our expectations.
  5. Nov 26, 2012
Warfighter isn't big or clever, and it's definitely not original. [Christmas 2012, p.88]
  6. Every once in a while Danger Close breaks the endless mould of duck & cover gameplay by letting you mark a building for an air strike, chase down an informant or provide sniper support. But even these sequences repeat themselves multiple times throughout the game. [December 2012, p.68]

Medal of Honor: Warfighter doesn't live up to its expectations. The single player features six hours of shooting dumb and scripted enemies. Only the chase through Dubai will linger in your mind after you finish the game. The multiplayer has improved thanks to the addition of fire teams, but the indestructibility of environments and a boring unlock system make sure the multiplayer won't rob you of your night's rest.
  8. Dec 14, 2012
As a complete package, Medal of Honor: Warfighter is disappointing when you consider the amount of hype surrounding it.
  9. Nov 12, 2012
With a little more time in the developing stage Medal of Honor: Warfighter could had been something that EA had hoped for, but with the fast turnaround times they expect, the game just failed for the most part. While it's not Thor: God of Thunder (the worst game I have ever played) it just doesn't live up to other games in the same genre.
  10. Oct 30, 2012
I think Danger Close definitely upgraded the series in some places with Warfighter, but regretfully took more than a few steps backwards in most of it.
  11. Oct 29, 2012
Medal of Honor: Warfighter is a true disappointment. The campaign is not only short but is also dull and derivative, with just a few interesting and memorable missions. The multiplayer works, with a pair of interesting features, but it sits in the grey zone between Battlefield and Call of Duty.
  12. Assuming you can patch it and it works, what you've got here is a basic shooter that, when it remembers what it is, can be fun, and when it forgets, goes mad.
  13. Oct 25, 2012
The campaign is just a depressing mix of missed opportunities and one firefight that feels exactly like the one before it. The AI is erratic, the story isn't well presented, and the even the overall design doesn't feel inspired. The general control is reliable and responsive, some parts are quite satisfying, and the multiplayer really is entertaining for long periods of time.

Beneath the awkward plotline and the average gameplay, you can see the game that it was meant to be, and that is the saddest story of all.
  15. Oct 29, 2012
Enough already! Stop trying to be Call of Duty, you're failing miserably at it. This shooter lacks any ideas of its own and only delivers an extremely lackluster single-player campaign and an online multiplayer segment that will not be able to hold your attention for long. Do not buy this, you'll regret it.
  16. Buggy as hell, and multiplayer is severely lacking. [Christmas 2012, p.83]
  17. Oct 25, 2012
Medal of Honor: Warfighter more resembles an untrained insurgent trying to figure out a state-of-the-art rocket launcher than a Tier 1 soldier.
  18. Oct 25, 2012
This is a bland, buggy and often boring title, one that belies the intentions of its developers and leaves the much-maligned modern shooter looking worse as a result.
  19. Oct 24, 2012
There's been a backlash brewing for some time against the bombastic direction military shooters have taken, but it would be wrong to assume that Medal of Honor: Warfighter is simply the game unlucky enough to bear its brunt. The truth is far simpler and more depressing: it's just not that good.
  20. 40
Shooting in Warfighter is excellent, and the presentation is great, but it doesn't stop the game from being broken literally, and thematically.
  21. Oct 26, 2012
At its core, Warfighter is a functional shooter built on trite design ideas, but significant technical problems knock it below the realm of mediocrity.
  22. Dec 19, 2012
Where COD maintains a smooth 60fps, Warfighter gets a nosebleed trying to put out 30fps. Modern Warfare boasts near-instant restarts after death; here, lengthy loading times merely add to the frustration.

Whatever happened to MoH? The 2010 remake is ahead of this game unfortunately and that's not saying much at all. The campaign starts off promising but after only a few minutes of playing you have seen and done everything there is to do in the entire experience. As for the multiplayer its a cheap call of duty knock off. Although it does bring some fresh innovation to the multiplayer its nothing you will brag to your friends about. RIP MoH Full Review »

This is the worst multi-player game I have ever played. I said after the first one they wouldn't get me again but I just wanted something different then COD. The interface sucks it spawned me out of the map a couple of times and the gun attachments WTF?. If anybody says this game is any good either works for EA or just plain old hates COD. I don't really prefer COD but after this POS game it's all I have left in the shooter genre. Full Review »

I wish only people who actually bought the game could review this, because most would say it is terrible. There is a reason EA handcuffed reviewers with a day one update, the game is actually worse than the 2010 MOH. It continues to try and be Call of Duty, contains a pathetic 3 hour campaign, and has multiplayer that won't even dent Battlefield 3. Keep playing BF3, or wait for Black Ops 2, when a game tries to be something else you might as well play that something else. Full Review »
