Puzzlegeddon is a solid offering for the genre, and one that is fully worth recommending to anyone willing to invest the time it takes to learn the system. If you are a fan of games like Puzzle Quest where there is more than just block matching then this is a no-brainer.
  2. When it comes right down to it, Puzzlegeddon is a decent idea, but its implementation feels incomplete. Those who love block-matching games and want a fresh challenge will want to pick it up, but most others should wait for the sequel.
  3. The world ends with a whimper in this shallow puzzle game.
  4. Puzzlegeddon has a couple decent ideas, but for the most part I found it bland, boring, and just not that fun to play. I'd definitely suggest skipping this one, and sticking to the classics for the time being.
  5. A slow, ugly, repetitive descent into block boredom. [Sept 2010, p.94]
