Even with those appreciated changes, I still can't help but feel like the real emotion of the Tour is held back.
  2. No matter what you're looking for in a golf game, Tiger Woods 10 almost certainly has you covered.
  3. It's no online tour, but it's a step in the right direction; the kind of slow progress we're seeing in the franchise these days. [July 2009, p.82]
  4. Another small leap in a good direction, Tiger Woods PGA Tour 10 delivers another stellar game of virtual golf that is sure to please dedicated Tiger Woods fans.
  5. Tiger Woods PGA Tour 10 shines apart from previous iterations due to the incorporation of both the game’s community and real results from the PGA.
  6. Game play is much like last year's effort on whole, but has been tightened and refined to allow for better club choices and shot selection.
  7. While more improvements can be made, Tiger Woods PGA Tour 10 still remains the best non-arcade golf game to hit any system until next year's version rolls around.

As a relative rookie, I had the most fun playing online against others within my skill level, as Tiger 10's main drawback is that it's too damned hard for series non-veterans.
  9. Tiger Woods PGA Tour 10 is a safe and sound approach shot from the fairway lie of last year’s golfing venture. Its low risks won’t change your mind about the franchise, and there’s still a level of frustration given that it would only take several minimal tweaks to make the design match the brilliance of its production values.

This year's version of Tiger Woods PGA Tour is as sweet as a 350 yard tee shot down the middle of the fairway. It will challenge experienced players while still providing enough teaching and lessons to acclimate even the newest of players.

Not many new features in yet another annual installment of a sports title.
  12. 83
There is just enough here to entice fans of the franchise to dip back in, especially with the online options, in spite of them needing a little tweaking.
  13. 90
There are enough improvements to keep returning players intrigued for months, and newcomers will really have a blast with the Dynamic Skill and tutorial options.
  14. 70
Tiger Woods PGA Tour 10 improves just enough over its predecessor to keep it interesting. The new online features are a nice addition, but the rest of the game is almost the same as last year's edition.
  15. The changes are quite slight, but the putting is vastly improved and the new features make for a better game than before, so if you like the sound of those you won't be disappointed.
  16. AceGamez
There's still plenty of room for improvement in terms of atmosphere, but EA Sports are going in the right direction and Tiger Woods 10 is easily the best of the series to date.
  17. Tiger Woods might not be groundbreaking, but it offers a very deep and challenging experience. The game has a great amount of realism and the added features work fine. Golf sims don't get any better than this.
  18. Playstation Official Magazine UK
Accomplished and addictive. [Aug 2009, p.117]
  19. The basics are covered early on; there are more than two dozen courses to play on and a continual stream of new challenges to tackle.
  20. Tiger Woods PGA Tour 10 amuses players of all ages.

While Tiger Woods PGA Tour 10 gives us more new features than last year's outing, the franchise is in need of an overhaul. We want more roar from the Tiger Woods series, and less meow.
  22. We appreciate the strong emphasis on tournament play, but none of the new additions to PGA Tour 10 blow us away. If you absolutely love the series, or are brand new to the franchise, here's another one. But if you're looking for something truly new, you might want to check out PGA Tour 10 on the Wii.

There is little you can get better at in a golf sim in a one year period. PGA Tour 10 comes with slight improvements to make the game even more realistic. [July 2009]
  24. Play UK
It should be DLC. [Issue#181, p.83]
  25. But unless you are serious about golf, or videogame golf at least, then you may find it frustrating.
  26. It's by no means a vintage year for Tiger, but a full-bodied one nonetheless.
  27. Tiger Woods '10 is a good game with a number of improvements over its predecessor. Unfortunately, it doesn't have improvements large enough to warrant a purchase for owners of last year's game.
  28. Tiger Woods PGA Tour 10 is a solid addition to the long running series. The great amount of options both online and off will suffice any golfing fan for a long period of time. Out of everything available in this year’s edition, the ‘Play The Pros’ will be the one mode that Golfing fans will go back to time and time again during the course of the season.
  29. Tiger Woods 10 is a good golf game. It has some nice enhancements in the gameplay area, such as the precision putting and the addition of the US Open-course.
  30. PSM3 Magazine UK
The best golf sim around, but only marginally better than '09. [Aug 2009, p.76]
  31. Tiger Woods PGA Tour 10 is once again at the front of the class, given that there is nothing else out there. The visuals are solid, the sound is good, and the gameplay does not falter.
  32. Playstation: The Official Magazine (US)
Sadly this year, it's hard to find a compelling reason to upgrade if you played 09. [Aug 2009, p.76]
  33. Tiger Woods PGA Tour 10 is the best golf game on stores: it's realistic, but also very accesible; it's a simulator, but it can also appeal to those who have just played arcades like Mario Golf or Pangya.
  34. A great game that improved slightly in some areas. Sadly, the changes are not enough for you to drop more cash on it.
  35. Authentic controls and a variety of play modes stand against merely changed gameplay and graphics. For fans and rookies!
  36. Overall this is another highly impressive gaming package from the seasoned professionals in the golf game trade, which is enjoyable if you’re not put off by the tough learning curve to begin with.
  37. On paper Tiger Woods PGA Tour 10 seems to offer the player a lot of new things, but in all honesty only the putting has been overhauled. People who already have last years version needn't bother.
  38. Better graphic, better environments, better textures, better animations, better effects... all in all, a better Tiger Woods PGA Tour. The tenth edition introduces several improvements and loads of new features, including the new rules introduced by the United State Golf Association, the Tournament Challenge, the Weather Channel, and a solid multiplayer mode. There are no real rivals for a direct comparison, yet this doesn’t make Tiger Woods PGA Tour 10 anything less than a must-have!

The training with Hank Haney at the end of each round gets old real fast but can be skipped unlike the long load screens. A frozen load The training with Hank Haney at the end of each round gets old real fast but can be skipped unlike the long load screens. A frozen load screen at the end of a round can be real frustrating causing you to lose an hour of play. Sometimes the sound track starts cutting out. I really expect console games to be bug free before being released--it's not like they can blame it on a sub par computer system. The crowd needs some work, sometimes they stand right in the way after a missed hit. They look like clones all wearing the same face and hats and 9 out of 10 times they catch the ball in the nut sack which is only funny the first 20 or so times. So why a solid 9 then? The atmosphere and fun factor are out of this world. Back spinning an iron shot in the pouring rain for an eagle to move to the top of the leader board and hearing the crowd and announcers going wild will bring you shouting out of your seat with a fist pump.
