This game surprised me. The Turbo film, which, in my opinion, is an 8/10, was about racing. The snails did race in the taco cafe, but that was racing, not stunting. This game, however, plays a lot like a Tony Hawk game. You drive around Dos Bros Tacos and a few other locations, collecting pickups in stunting spots. This game reminds me of that slightly above average PS2 game, Room Zoom: Race For Impact, because you race in tiny locations. This movie game also has you doing slides on ramps and standing on your head, and also doing 'nosies'. There are also a few cheat codes which can be found on the internet. I thought there would be a story mode, trying to win the Indy 500, like in the movie. There is no online features, including multiplayer, which i bet is a big problem for loads of gamers, but, i mostly hate online multiplayer, and this game isn't really built for it. There is offline multiplayer, however. Overall, Turbo: Super Stunt Squad is a fun game, 1 player or 2 player, but the fact that there is no story mode or racing (except in the DS version) brings it down to a 7/10. But, after the recent price drop, this is a good game to get for yourself, or more likely, your kids. Expand

  1. Inoffensive busy-work for the ankle-biters. Nothing more. Nothing less. [December 2013, p81]

Even if the film did do surprisingly well at the box office, you’ll easily spot the slug trails that accompany Turbo: Super Stunt Squad as it crawls its way into the bargain bin.

A horrible attempt at squeezing out some extra license money while ruining several childhoods in the process.
